Tennis: Del Potro is not giving up easily, winning Federer's first two service points to take the score to 0-30. The Argentine then has three break back points, after a long rally in which he hit the baseline three times in a row and unbelievably he does it, breaking Federer's serve straight away to stay in the match. The score is now 10-10 in the third and final set. -

Sailing: Amazing stuff from Ben Ainslie in today's second race in the Finn class. The three-time gold medal winner was way ahead in first but then slowed down so as to disrupt overall leader Jonas Hogh-Christensen. And it worked. The Dane ended up back in third with Ainslie winning the race. And what does all that mean you ask? Well, Ainslie's hopes of winning a fourth gold are now in his own hands. In Sunday's final race Ainslie will win gold as long as he finishes ahead of Hogh-Christensen. -

Tennis: Federer serving to stay in the game for the seventh time in the match and immediately he gets off to a bad start, making two unforced errors to go 0-30 down. However the Swiss master keeps calm, serving an ace and then another two booming serves to go 40-30 up. He follows it up with another huge serve to close out the game and take the match to 12-12 in the final set.

Cycling: VIctoria Pendleton is hoping to put aside her disappointment from being relegated in last night's team sprint with a medal in the keirin tonight. She is just about to get going in the heat two where she is up against her arch-rival Anna Meares of Australia. The top two riders progress into the semi-final.

Tennis: At 14-14, Federer has a huge chance to break for only the second time in the game, earning three break points. However Del Potro keeps his cool and wins three points in a row to take the game to deuce. Federer has now converted only one of his 11 break points in the game. Del Potro wins the next two points for a hard-earned hold of serve and this game is now only five minutes away from becoming the longest match in Olympic history.
-
Tennis: Federer once again serving to stay in the game and Del Potro has a sniff of a break point with the score at 15-30 but the Wimbledon champion pulls out another two big serves to take the score to 40-30 although Del Potro wins the next point to take the game to deuce. Federer eventually closes out the game to take the score to 15-15 in the final set. -

Tennis: This time it is Del Potro who is under pressure on his serve, going 15-30 down, but a couple of uncharacteristic errors from Federer relieve the pressure and the Argentine holds serve once more. The match is still on serve at 16-15 and it is now the longest in Olympic history. -
Cycling: Not long until the men's team pursuit get going in their semi-final against Denmark with the winner earning a place in the final and a guaranteed medal. Team GB's four-man team set a new world record in qualifying and start as overwhelming favourites. -

Tennis: After over four hours we have a match point, Roger Federer 40-30 up at 18-17 in the third set... But he can't convert it! Hitting a volley close to his body into the net. However he instantly has another match point hitting a trademark forehand winner down the line and this time he does it. Del Potro hitting the ball into the net to end the longest ever Olympic tennis match. Federer will face the winner of Andy Murray v Novak Djokovic. Del Potro leaves the court overcome with emotion to huge cheers from the crowd. -
