London 2012 Olympics: Day 4

Day 4 saw Team GB win another silver medal and some other terrific GB performances including GB women beating Brazil 1-0.
Team GB won another medal as the eventing team took silver in the final in the show jumping www.independent.co.uk
The women's gymnastics team came sixth in the gymnastics - an event won by the USA.
Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow finished fifth for Team GB in the women's synchronised 10m platform diving final.
Mary King and Tina Cook missed out on medals with Germany's Michael Jung claiming the gold in the individual eventing.
David Florence failed to reach the finals in the Canoe slalom despite being a strong favourite to do so.
Laura Robson put up a good fight against Maria Sharapov but lost two sets to love.
