London 2012 Olympics: Day 13

The latest news and views from the London 2012 Olympics

It was a lucky Day 13, with Team GB returning to medal-winning form. Charlotte Dujardin won GOLD in the individual showjumping and team-mate Laura Bechtolsheimer won BRONZE in the same event. There was GOLD for boxer Nicola Adams in the women's fly 51kg and GOLD for Jade Jones in Taekwondo.

Taekwondo: Jade Jones won GOLD beating the twice world championt, Yuzhuo Hou from China. GB's Martin Stamper lost 5-3 against Afghanistan's Rohullah Nikpai and missed out on a bronze medal.

Boxing: GOLD for Nicola Adams in the women's fly 51kg and makes Olympic history as the first-ever female Olympic boxing champion.

Equestrian: Team GB's Charlotte Dujardin won GOLD and Laura Bechtolsheimer won BRONZE in the individual dressage competition.

Athletics: Usain Bolt won the 200m final, becoming the first man ever to win the Olympic sprint double twice in succession on an historic night in London. America's Ashton Eaton won gold in the decathlon.

Open-water swimming: Beijing silver medallist Keri-Anne Payne started as the favourite in the women’s 10k marathon but narrowly missed out on a medal, finishing fourth.

BMX: Team GB's Liam Phillips Team GB's Liam Phillips qualifies for Friday's men's BMX semi-finals

Sailing: A lack of wind in Weymouth has postponed today's sailing. Luke Patience and Stuart Bithell are guaranteed at least silver for Team GB in the 470 class medal race. However they will need their Australian opponents to slip up if they are to have a chance of gold.

Hockey: Team GB lost 9-2 to the Netherlands. The British will play for a bronze medal.

Taekwondo: Jade Jones from Wales has beaten two world champions at Taekwondo to win Gold. The people of Flint raised the £1,600 to start Jade's sporting career.
